I have always loved gmail, Google is without a doubt one of the best email providers out there, if not the best. Google recently added a Twitter like status update service that comes with gmail called Buzz. It may not appear that Buzz is a major threat to Facebook and Twitter but I think the time will show that Buzz is a solid social network specially because it is embedded in Gmail. Gmail truly does amazing job with embedded text/video/voice chat it makes me wonder how long can MS Messenger, Skype and other similar applications last. For now they still have a lot of good, strong points against Gmail chat, but I think that Google alone is changing that quite quickly. p#160;/p pHowever I do not like the idea that everything in the future will be hosted by companies, it is the way of the future and everything sure will be developed in this direction, but for some things there will always be only one way to keep them safe and private, local storage. Even Gmail is not attack-prove and you can never really know if someone is checking your email (that can surely happen even from the inside of Google) so I think that that is something that we most except when using online services like this, they are fun, easy, but mostly quick and simple, but that comes with a little security risk we must all take. Google provides fast search engine that in Gmail helps you to find your emails you can also sort them in custom folders (labels), share them and more, There is always space for improvement but overall I think that Gmail is on the very top of email service providers.
