If you own your own web site of web space, that you probably use FTP to upload your files. There are many very good FTP clients out there, but most of them aren’t free and because it’s always better to find a free solution than get an illegal copy of shareware I’m reviewing one of the most popular free FTP clients, FileZilla.

I know this piece of software quite good, becuase I’m peronaly using it for upload. It is easy, fast and reliable. Anyway there are some issues, like it gets disconnected from time to time and you have to conne3dt again and browse your directories. But generally looking, it works great. However it cannot be compared to SmartFTP, but because this programs aren’t in the same category (shareware, freeware) we can’t compare them. So among all of free FTP clients, FileZilla is one of the best, try it out, you won’t be disappointed.

It offers all standard transfer options, like active mode and passive mode. It has queued files, so you can make look list of files to transfer and than FileZilla automaticly transfers them. Application has also automatic update, so your version of client is always up to date.
